Tamworth 2008 Festival has come and gone and once  again.  With shows at the Courthouse Hotel and Imperial Hotel along with the always popular "writers in the round" songwriters show on Wednesday 23rd.    This year I was lucky enough to share the show with Garry Koehler and Robert Mackay from The Bobkatz and one of my favourite songwriters and great guy Luke O'Shea.

Apart from being comical relief, this show gives us as songwriters the opportunity to explain our songs and have an audience actually listen to every word.  

And not once did someone yell out, play "Brown Eyed Girl".

The long awaited follow up 2nd album is finally here.  Frangipani has been more than 3 years coming, since the release of Michael's award winning debut album "Somewhere in Between".  

Although the recipient of many awards and critical acclaim from industry, It has been a long and weary road since, promoting and touring the album.  This along with the process of writing new material can take time.

But the wait is over.

The album was produced by Michael himself along with Dan Webbe in their own recording studio, SUPERBALL STUDIO's on the Sunshine Coast, Qld.
